    Job Description
    - Part of the company’s management team together with the Chartering Manager, Manager Marine Services and Managing Director.
    - Leadership to the operations department and the company’s fleet of Chemical Tankers.
    - Be fully aware of the specifications of the vessels under his or her operation and of the relevant Time Charter Party terms between the company and the owners, and assure that the vessels are operated within these agreements.
    - Supervise the stowage of booked or planned cargoes in compliance with all relevant regulations, vessel limitations and customer requirements.
    - Ensure that the Company Shipping Data System is maintained correct, current and complete.
    - Prepare weekly/monthly and yearly reports regarding operational matters.

In this role you will advise the Operations Manager on all technical matters with regards to the deck lay out, load capacity and operational conditions of the jack-up units.     · Assist with the technical part of pre-qualifications.
    · To liaise with 3rd party engineering companies on all engineering, with regards to project specific assessments, operational, survival and environmental conditions.
    · Advise on the financial consequences of modifications after liaise with 3rd parties and Technical Manager.
    · Prepare deck lay-outs and loading conditions.
    · Work with and improve existing load sheets.

Je kunt daarbij o.a. denken aan inbedrijfstelling, reparatie-, garantie-, service en onderhoudswerkzaamheden, het leveren en de verkoop van onderdelen, het leveren van informatie en technische trainingen en het verkopen van equipment voor schepen en aanverwante niet-maritieme zaken. De afdeling verzorgt ook de bemensing van projecten. In een aantal gevallen gaat het om structurele en langlopende projecten.

     

    De Field Service Mechanic opereert onder leiding van een Site Manager of Field Service Engineer. Je taak is samengevat het verrichten van toegekende reparatiewerkzaamheden en (preventief) onderhoud wereldwijd t.b.v. schepen en scheepsinstallaties. Werkzaamheden moeten regelmatig worden uitgevoerd in minder ontwikkelde gebieden, met beperktere faciliteiten. Je moet dus rekening houden met omstandigheden, cultuur en bijzonderheden, zodanig dat er sprake is van optimaal functionerende schepen. Gezien de vaak urgente aard van de werkzaamheden (het stilliggen van een schip brengt zeer hoge kosten met zich mee), vormt de afdeling Services een belangrijke schakel in deze onderhoudsprocessen.

    Taken
    Het verrichten van toegekend onderhouds-, renovatie- en assemblagewerk op mechanisch, elektrotechnisch en procestechnisch gebied op schepen:
    – uitvoeren van onderhouds-, renovatie- en assemblagewerk, demonteren/monteren, vervangen en afstellen van (delen van) installaties
    – bespreken van bijzonderheden met de Field Service Engineers/Site Manager
    - uitvoeren van preventief onderhoud.

    Verhelpen van storingen die zich voordoen bij de onderhouds-, renovatie- en assemblagewerkzaamheden:
    – verhelpen van kleine storingen door bepaalde onderdelen te vervangen
    - signaleren van storingen in installaties en melden van storingen op mechanisch en elektrotechnisch en procestechnisch gebied aan de Field Service Engineer/Site Manager.

    Mede controleren of de schepen voldoen aan de gestelde normen en de kwaliteitseisen:
    – rapporteren van de bevindingen aan de locale Field Service Engineer/Site Manager
    – uitvoeren van diverse werkzaamheden aan de schepen om te voldoen aan de kwaliteitseisen (brandsneden, lasnaden, conservering, tanks en leidingwerk, isolatiematerialen, kunststofvloeren en tegelwerk).

    Uiteraard leef je hierbij de bedrijfs- en werkvoorschriften (o.a. kwaliteit, veiligheid en milieu) na.
