Job description
- Supporting the OIM and in addition, supervise the functions on board.
- The ability to control all Drilling Operations and other interrelated activities being performed during their shift in an efficient, timely and most importantly safe manner.
- Ensure the drilling operations are carried out as defined in the approved Operator’s Instructions and Drilling Programme. The operation will be executed in accordance with Client Drilling Operation Manual and appropriate RSWMs.
- Responsible for all the essential drilling operations, such as drilling, reaming, coring, fishing, running casing, tubing.
- Prepare Drilling Reports.
- Supervise the running and retrieving of all subsea equipment.
- Reporting directly to the Senior Toolpusher any deviations from approved Operator’s Instructions or Drilling Programme.

Lowland Marine & Offshore has been assigned by an international client to bring on board a Drilling Supervisor (Semi Submersible) on a 28/28 rotation on the NCS.

Job description
- Close supervision on a semi-sub rig drilling.
- Duties will include completing and testing development, exploration and appraisal wells in water-depths up to 2000ft.
- Complex subsea completions and well testing.
- Third party staff, service and equipment quality monitoring and approval
- Complex supply chain and logistics delivery.
- Ensure safe working practices at all time.

For one off our clients Lowland Marine & Offshore is looking for a Deck Engineer. The Deck Engineer will support the Duty Watch Engineer and performs regular duties, maintenance and reports accordingly. He is reporting to the First Engineer.

Key responsibilities
- Proactively contribute to the safety regime on the vessel.
- Comply to companies safety policies and report non-compliances.
- Perform maintenance and repairs as per First Engineer’s instructions.
- Carry out other department related tasks when required by management.
- Play an active role regarding improvements of the performance of deck/project equipment on board.
- Contribute to improve maintenance standards where needed.
- Responsible for good housekeeping of workshops and keep all tools in good and serviceable order.
- Assist project/construction crew on board as instructed by First Engineer.

He will manage the day to day activities of all personnel in his department. Key responsibilities:

Voor een services afdeling van een klant van ons zijn wij op zoek naar een Field Service Mechanic. De afdeling waarvoor je werkt verricht een breed scala aan serviceactiviteiten. Je kunt daarbij o.a. denken aan inbedrijfstelling, reparatie-, garantie-, service en onderhoudswerkzaamheden, het leveren en de verkoop van onderdelen, het leveren van informatie en technische trainingen en het verkopen van equipment voor schepen en aanverwante niet-maritieme zaken. De afdeling verzorgt ook de bemensing van projecten. In een aantal gevallen gaat het om structurele en langlopende projecten.

De Field Service Mechanic opereert onder leiding van een Site Manager of Field Service Engineer. Je taak is samengevat het verrichten van toegekende reparatiewerkzaamheden en (preventief) onderhoud wereldwijd t.b.v. schepen en scheepsinstallaties. Werkzaamheden moeten regelmatig worden uitgevoerd in minder ontwikkelde gebieden, met beperktere faciliteiten. Je moet dus rekening houden met omstandigheden, cultuur en bijzonderheden, zodanig dat er sprake is van optimaal functionerende schepen. Gezien de vaak urgente aard van de werkzaamheden (het stilliggen van een schip brengt zeer hoge kosten met zich mee), vormt de afdeling Services een belangrijke schakel in deze onderhoudsprocessen.

Taken
Het verrichten van toegekend onderhouds-, renovatie- en assemblagewerk op mechanisch, elektrotechnisch en procestechnisch gebied op schepen:
– uitvoeren van onderhouds-, renovatie- en assemblagewerk, demonteren/monteren, vervangen en afstellen van (delen van) installaties
– bespreken van bijzonderheden met de Field Service Engineers/Site Manager
- uitvoeren van preventief onderhoud.

Verhelpen van storingen die zich voordoen bij de onderhouds-, renovatie- en assemblagewerkzaamheden:
– verhelpen van kleine storingen door bepaalde onderdelen te vervangen
- signaleren van storingen in installaties en melden van storingen op mechanisch en elektrotechnisch en procestechnisch gebied aan de Field Service Engineer/Site Manager.

Mede controleren of de schepen voldoen aan de gestelde normen en de kwaliteitseisen:
– rapporteren van de bevindingen aan de locale Field Service Engineer/Site Manager
– uitvoeren van diverse werkzaamheden aan de schepen om te voldoen aan de kwaliteitseisen (brandsneden, lasnaden, conservering, tanks en leidingwerk, isolatiematerialen, kunststofvloeren en tegelwerk).

Uiteraard leef je hierbij de bedrijfs- en werkvoorschriften (o.a. kwaliteit, veiligheid en milieu) na.
