Lowland Marine & Offshore is searching for a Third Officer. The Third Officer has an operational and supportive role to the Officer of Watch and is responsible to the Chief Mate. The workplace is onboard the vessels.

Key responsibilities:
- proactively contribute to the safety regime on the vessel
- carry out other related tasks when required by management
- assisting the Chief Mate and First Officer in the safe execution of the watchkeeping process onboard in all vessel modes (e.g. in transit, on DP, moored alongside etc.)
- act as winch operator during Anchor mooring operations
- act as Helideck Assistant (HDA) when required
- assisting the Chief Mate in executing Safety drills in accordance with the vessel’s Safety Management System
- assists in maintenance and record keeping of all DP, navigational and safety equipment
- provide marine assistance to the project construction team.

Qualifications:
- STW 95 (A-II/2) Certificate of Competency as Chief Mate (Deck Officer Class 2 unlimited)
- (DP Certificate) and Junior DP capability in accordance with IMCA M 117 (HLV OS)
-  requirements according ISM Codes
- requirements according ISPS Codes
- good knowledge of the English language
- minimum 3 years of experience as Bridge Officer / DPO on similar vessels
