Lowland Marine & Offshore is searching for a Offshore Construction Manager / Superintendent for a project of an installation contractor. You will work in Rotterdam and in the greater North Sea area. For this job we need experienced supervisors that can lead a team of workers to execute tasks on this jobs. Task may include the rigging of structures, the directing of the crane driver during the lifting operation, the operating of simple survey and measuring equipment and any other tasks that come at hand in the execution of the work or the operation of the vessel.

Responsibilities
- manage and control execution of part of Contract work on board of the vessel, as assigned by offshore Manager
- direct Subcontractors on task execution, planning and operational issues
- direct the assigned staff on task execution, planning and operational issues
- responsible for the mobilisation and execution of the assigned project scope of work
- on board contact point for assigned subcontractors and for assigned crew
- on board contact point for shore organisation during mobilisation, as assigned
- hand-over of project tasks to back-to-back crew and relieve crew of the vessel execution team.

- educated to MBO level or equivalent
- at least 5 – 8 years experience in construction industry (construction supervision/marine operations)
- experienced in marine construction (heavy lifting offshore, transportation and installation)
- understanding of vessel dynamics and subsea installation engineering
- informed on technical and engineering aspects of the (subsea) offshore industry
- basic knowledge of ROV capabilities/limitations
- up to date with all relevant rules & regulations
- conversant in English (verbally and in writing)
- valid medical certification to NOGEPA standard or equivalent
- valid offshore safety training to NOGEPA standard or equivalent.
