One of our clients is a rapidly expanding operating company responsible for the management of the clients mother company’s fleet. This rapidly expanding fleet consists of various types of offshore vessels ranging from survey to light drill vessels. In addition client supervises a number of new building projects worldwide and provides maritime expertise to clients mother company at large. The continued growth and success of the company is the reason that we are now recruiting for our client so they can employ more personnel for its office in the The Hague area in The Netherlands.

The STAR Vessel Maintenance Superintendent is a go-getter with a keen eye for the day to day operation of a vessel and a strong affinity for the offshore world. In this position you will be responsible for updating and inserting various forms of data in our Star vessel management system, while coordinating the resources and capabilities of a data team.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Determining the required maintenance for all installed equipment by using the client maintenance strategy.
- Creating work order instructions based on the required maintenance for all installed equipment.
- Determining the required spare parts for the installed equipment by using the client spare parts strategy.
- Creating part lists based on required spare parts for the installed equipment
- Creating work order instructions based on the client management manual related to: ISM, SOLAS etc.
- Indexing of all of manuals, drawings and vessel related documents in accordance with the SVMS system.
- Ensures that all tasks are conducted in compliance with client policies, manuals and all other relevant international legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Reports hierarchically to the SVMS Superintendent.
- Reports operationally to the Maintenance & Reliability Engineer.

Requirements

- Preferred seagoing or closely related experience.
- MAROF educated seafarers and experienced.
- Engineers both with and with limited experience are explicitly requested to apply.
- Bachelor or equal level of ability.
- Experience with MS Office related software.
- Experience and knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong reporting skills in English.
